Ballet Workshops

This classic dance teaches the core principles of movement, which are used in every other dance form, whilst instilling discipline in the students. 

The Day

OPTIONAL: The Ballet Day can begin with an introductory assembly about the history of Ballet (max 15 minutes). A summary of all the information we cover can be handed to students in the form of worksheets at the end of the classes.

The students will then be split into classes, lasting from 40 min for reception to 1hr plus for years 3-6 and secondary.

Each workshop will consist of:

• Warm up and exercises at the bar
• Exercises in the centre
• Sequence of moves learnt
• A mini Routine from a Ballet
• A cool down

OPTIONAL: Finish the day with a school assembly performance, allowing any groups or individuals who would like to perform the routine in front of an audience of the students, teachers and even parents.

Price

£280 for the whole day. (£1.50 per student based on 6 classes of 30 students).
