Drama Workshops

Drama is an ancient and powerful form of communication, expression and spirituality in every culture across the world.

Our Drama workshops will inspire the pupils to find their voice, bodies, movement and expression which will boost their confidence, breathing, posture and expression as well as encourage team work, creativity and inspiration.

We have teachers who can specialise in Stanislavski, Meisner, Shakepeare and monologues and we can use drama to explore any current theme your class is working on through improvisation or text work.

The Drama Day can begin with an introductory assembly about Drama. (Max 15 minutes).

The students will then be split into classes, lasting from 40 min for reception to 1hr plus for years 3-6 and secondary.

Each workshop will consist of:

• Vocal Warm ups
• Stretching and rhthm and name games
• Exercises (breath, voice, movement, improvisation etc)
• Work and perform a scene, monologue or subject of their choice.

OPTIONAL: Finish the day with a school assembly performance, allowing any groups or individuals who would like to perform the routine in front of an audience of the students, teachers and even parents.
