Pupils from 11 South Hackney schools took to the stage for an evening of song and dance as part of a drive to get more involved with the local community.

Etta Bell, one of the organisers from dance and yoga academy Kickstep Wellbeing said:

"It is so inspiring to see each child develop in ability throughout the term. The disciplines they learn improve fitness, creativity, teamwork and confidence. All the children bloom at the performance."

"England rugby stars swapped their usual rough and tumble scrums for inner peace poses when they practised their yoga stretching technique this week, as part of preparations for the forthcoming autumn Test season. 

Prop Sheridan admitted he is an advocate of yoga exercises.  He said: 'I've used both yoga and Pilates before.  They're good for flexibility."
