For our 'Themed' workshops, several of our teachers can intergrate any of the creative arts (drama, music, movement and art) into a specific area of your curriculum. Past workshops have included 'The seasons', 'Around the world', 'Light and dark' (polarities), 'Romeo and Juliet', and festivals (Christmas, Easter, Carnival). Dance WorkshopsOur dance classes and workshops will inspire the pupils to kickstep into an energetic and simple routine which will boost their confidence, coordination, flexibility, and inspiration for dance as well as encourage team work, creativity and inspire them to enjoy expressing themselves through dance, just as our ancestors have for thousands of years. | 'The teacher was excellent; the boys really responded to his approach and the content of his workshops. This was the first time that any of the groups had tried dance and their confidence benefited hugely. At the end of the Arts Week it was evident that all the year groups noted Dance as their favourite workshop.' - Dan McSherry, Rokeby School |
