Street Dance Workshops

Dance is an ancient and powerful form of communication, expression and spirituality in every culture across the world.

Our street dance workshops will inspire the pupils to kickstep into an energetic and simple routine which will boost their confidence, coordination, flexibility, and inspiration for dance as well as encourage team work, creativity and inspire them to enjoy expressing themselves through dance, just as our ancestors have for thousands of years.

The Street Dance Day can begin with an introductory assembly about Dance and a demonstration from the teacher. (Max 15 minutes).The students will then be split into classes, lasting from 40 min for reception to 1hr plus for years 3-6 and secondary.
Each workshop will consist of:

• Warm up
• Stretching and games
• Exercises
• A short routine.  Each routine will be tailored to suit the specific Key Stage group, fulfilling national curriculum criteria.

OPTIONAL: Finish the day with a school assembly performance, allowing any groups or individuals who would like to perform the routine in front of an audience of the students, teachers and even parents.
